Hebson is the Founding Managing Director of Express Cargo and he has been with the company since January 2009. At the helm of Express Cargo for 5 years, he has gained vast experience in clearing and freight forwarding, handling project shipments, warehouse, and road transport into SADC region and imports and exports documentation. Prior joining Express Cargo he worked for ZIMRA for 15 years.
He holds a Diploma in Marketing from Institute of Marketing Management of South Africa and he is currently studying for a Masters in Business Administration.
Herbert was appointed to the Board of Express Cargo in January, 2015. He has more than 26 years' professional working experience in the private and public sector. He is the founding Managing Director from Madetop (Pvt) Ltd. He worked as a Trade and Transport Facilitation Assessment Consultation for World Bank and CEO for Zimtrade where he spearheads National Trade Development and Promotion for Zimbabwe. He has more than 20 years experience in the private sector at senior managerial level chain management. He served as a Board Member for Zimbabwe Investment Authority (ZIA) and Standards Association of Zimbabwe (SAZ) and was also a member of CZI Trade and Investment Committee.
He holds a Master of Business Leadership from UNISA Bachelor of Business Studies Honours from UZ and Diploma in Purchasing and Supply from Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (UK).
